I imagine some of you have stumbled upon The Legendary Sisters of the Laughing Doggebi because you’re supporting Patrick Trahey’s Kickstarter for the XII Trade Paperback. So, first let me thank you for supporting Patrick, he’s good people. Second, thanks for taking the time to stop by and see what’s going on here. Third…
Let me apologize for the mess!
I’m about to overhaul this site, and reboot the ‘Sisters’. For one thing, WordPress doesn’t offer great support for long form web comics, or specifically a film-strip orientation, which is where I’d like to take the sisters web-presence. So as soon as I’ve solved that problem the site will relaunch.
I’m also putting together a Square store to distribute my Li’l Musa Mini and Comic…
Sorry for the hurry up and wait post. But I just want everyone to know the site isn’t dead, it’s about to be reborn.
OK… Foam-Core Standees. But the concept is the same.
To get ready for the relaunch of the ‘Sisters’ I’m making scale standees. I had attempted to do this for Choo already, but unfortunately my printer didn’t follow directions and gave me a print that was a foot short. When she’s the tank of the group, that kinda doesn’t work. So, as soon as I find another local guy who can do large format AND follow directions (or at least apologize for fucking it up when called out on it…) I’ll redo the Choo standee, and work my way through the rest of the sisters.
I’ve been warming up for the relaunch by revisiting the Sisters. I haven’t picked a date for the Kickstarter, but I will soon. I’m the type who needs the deadline to keep me from saying “I’ll do it later” for all eternity.
The Woodcutter’s Wife
The Sword Collector
The Trickster
The Saint
The Albino
I don’t know who that abomination of the left is… but it’s NOT The Woodcutter’s Wife.
Thus the redo on the right. I hate the first version so much, I’m going to Instagram its destruction.
