…you might be asking.
The TL;DR; answer? I’m rebooting it.
If you’ve been following along (after all this time) then you already know that I just finished a successful kick-starter. I think that’s shaping my vision for where to go next. And that’s: MOAR KIKZTARTERZ. My goal is to have a hundred to hundred-and-fifty page installment of the Legendary Sisters kickstarted by the end of the year.
I’ve been vacillating with trying to pitch it to a creator owned publisher or self-publishing and at the end of the day I think the latter is the safest route. Sure going with most creator-owned publishers has some built in exposure and marketing. But at the end of the day, I’d rather just sell the comic directly to the people who are going to read it.
So if you’re asking about the web presence, don’t worry. I still want to publish a film-strip (korean e-manwha style) version. That’s not changing. But I won’t be going back to page a week updates. As weak and vulnerable as this sounds, the silence from week to week upon releasing an update was too discouraging. Rather the new model will be to drop an entire book in concert with kick-starter completion.
So I’ve been warming up, dusting off my render-style and getting in a place where I’m ready to start the pre-production work on the reboot. Thus this portrait of The Widow (see last years Halloween Special).
